Following on from the description of Samui’s diverse areas, beach and hillside developments, nightlife, quiet areas and the still undiscovered - there is plenty of choice to be had when looking to rent a property in Koh Samui. Many investors have developed on Samui in order to take advantage of the constant demand for rental accommodation. This is not to say that Samui is overcrowded, on the contrary, the combination of Samui’s size, its new airport, ferry ports and proximity to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, seem to have enabled Samui to cope with its constant demand without actually ever becoming crowded. Not something that could be said of most popular holiday destinations. Thailand also still offers that sense of mystery that other countries have lost many years ago.

When it come to the type of accommodation choice range from the smallest bungalow to the large stand-alone villas that have been bought over here by superstars like David Beckham and Justine Henin. This means that everybody can be catered for, whether it’s the backpacker or the millionaire looking for the perfect escape destination. All this seems to mix in to the allure of Koh Samui, as one of the few places that seems to have everybody catered for whether mixing with each other in the multitude of restaurants, bars and clubs, or if they choose to remain isolated and enjoy the relaxing side to the island.
The airport caters for international flights, but connections to Bangkok are frequent and getting to Samui is always a simple matter.
