Conrad Koh Samui Residences

23 Mar 2010 1

Conrad Koh Samui Residences, setting a new benchmark for luxury resort living on the idyllic Thai island of Koh Samui, will launch in Hong Kong at the Conrad Hotel on March 6th and 7th 2010.

The 32 residential pool villas are part of the new Conrad Koh Samui opening in late 2010. Prices start from THB43.8 million for two-bedroom pool villas and THB 88 million for three-bedroom pool villas.  An owner of a two-bedroom residence can enjoy a 7% per annum guaranteed rental for five years* from the developer.

Conrad Koh Samui Residences are located on a pristine beachfront in Phang Ka at the southwest coast of Koh Samui, and are surrounded by coconut plantations with panoramic views over the Gulf of Thailand and the ‘Five Islands’.  The residences are within 45 minutes driving distance from Samui International Airport with convenient daily direct flight connections to/from Hong Kong and via Bangkok.

Villa owners, subject to relevant charges, have access to a wide range of five-star resort facilities synonymous with the leading contemporary luxury hotel brand – including world-class dining, swimming pool and signature spa, gym, secluded private beach and 5-star concierge services.

Residences with built-up areas of approximately 390-830 sqm are on two levels and feature striking contemporary design with subtle Thai influences. They occupy plots of approximately 480-1,040 sqm, complete with a private infinity pool and generous outdoor sundeck and lounge area.

“Hillcrest is delighted to announce the launch of Conrad Koh Samui Residences,” said Managing Director, Lyon Lau, of Hillcrest Residences (Samui) Co. Ltd.  “This new development introduces to Koh Samui the whole notion of the branded residences concept offering truly luxurious and memorable getaways for today’s discerning and market savvy home buyers.”

Outstanding villa design is by leading Singapore-based architects Eco.ID, who styled the Metropolitan Bangkok and the W Maldives. Interior design is by Wilson Associates, designers at Conrad Bangkok and Banyan Tree Bali. Construction is by globally renowned Australian builders Leighton Construction.

Developer Hillcrest Residences (Samui) Co. Ltd. is a Thailand-incorporated property development company and a joint-venture, of which the Hong Kong based Hillcrest Capital Ltd. is a partner, and who brought in its expertise on high-end developments in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
